Difficult
Questions
in
Polish-Jewish
Dialogue
The
book
Difficult
Questions
in
Polish-Jewish
Dialogue
is
a
collaborative
project
of
the
Forum
for
Dialogue
Among
Nations
Foundation
and
the
American
Jewish
Committee.
The
Difficult
Questions
project
began
with
an
analysis
of
more
than
a
thousand
questionnaires
gathered
in
Poland,
the
United
States,
Israel,
Canada,
and
Australia.
In
them,
young
Poles
and
Jews
exchanged
the
questions
that
seemed
to
them
most
pressing,
difficult.
A
group
of
sociologists
together
with
the
editors
of
this
book,
compiled
a
list
of
the
fifty-one
most
important
and
representative
questions
posed
by
these
young
people.
They
were
answered
by
some
of
the
most
distinguished
experts
in
the
areas
of
history,
sociology,
Polish-Jewish
relations,
and
religion.

their
birth.
These
biographies
consider
their
contributions
made to
both
Jewish
and
Polish
culture
